Amy Hetherington (MC)

Hi friends! ? I’m a Darwin based comedian, MC, and workshop facilitator. I love my Northern Territory community, my toddler, and making life more entertaining for other people.

I genuinely believe in fun, and love using my energy, communications skills and connections in the Territory to help people share their stories, lift their optimism and engage audiences.

I’m looking forward to welcoming you to the IFA conference on the 17th May!

Claire Madden

Claire is a leading voice internationally on Generation Z. As an author, social researcher, keynote speaker, and media commentator, Claire is in high demand as an expert in interpreting social trends, demographics, and implications of generational change. Claire is the author of Hello Gen Z: Engaging the Generation of Post-Millennials. She is highly regarded for her dynamic and engaging presentations where she translates robust, research-based content into strategic applications for educators, managers and business leaders. Claire is commissioned by some of the nation’s largest companies and leading brands to interpret the changing landscape and communicate the implications for business and society. As a media commentator, Claire is regularly interviewed on prominent television programs including The Drum, The Project, The Today Show, SkyNews, Sunrise, and The Morning Show, as well as on the radio and in print media. Claire is on the board of a financial services company and is also a PhD candidate, studying Gen Zs’ approach to work.

Liz Morgan Brett

Liz’s journey began as an elite athlete, playing professional volleyball in Italy, then competing at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Her successful transition into the business world was undoubtedly linked to the resilience she developed along her Olympic journey as well as the softer skills of effective communication and leadership.

In 2021, Liz moved to the Northern Territory to join AIG (Aboriginal Investment Group) as CEO, and is committed to improving the quality of life and opportunities for Indigenous communities.

Liz’s core skills in finance, governance and strategy were finessed during her studies in the Executive MBA and ongoing training and development in governance. She has a proven record of successfully engaging multiple stakeholders and aligning their values and beliefs towards a common goal while fostering a culture of excellence and inspiring continuous improvement for all.

Mark White

Mark is the founding Director of Ramvek, one of Australia’s leading fitout companies, with diverse capabilities including construction, project management, and Australian joinery manufacturing in-house at their 5000 square metre facility.

Mark is also the General Manager of Manapan Furniture, located 500kms east of Darwin in Arnhem Land on Milingimbi Island, which he started in association with the not-for-profit Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA) to develop skills and provide employment pathways for the Milingimbi Island Indigenous community. Manapan, a local word meaning “coming together”, was founded on the ethos of great design with heart, and boasts a small collection of high-end furniture using Darwin stringybark and other Australian timbers.

Barbara Clifford

Barbara has spent over 20 years working in time-precious industries such as film, hospitality, and marketing. She has always had a passion for creating order out of chaos; to make sense of things. She helps small businesses, middle management, and entrepreneurs feel more empowered. Her clients breathe a sigh of relief when they can easily apply strategies such as stress management tools or personal management systems.

Barbara is passionate about giving back to the business community. Whether it be facilitating professional development workshops, personal coaching, or online training, She allows employers, employees, and business owners to feel confident that they are proactively improving their productivity and well-being.
